In April 2023, MSU held a science festival. The Smart Microsystems Lab participated and showed off some of our research in an exhibit. As part of the exhibit, I was tasked with explaining my research to an audience with ages ranging from 7-70, so I wanted to design a fun activity that will engage a large chunk of the audience and aid in my explanation of some of my research. So, I devised a simple activity to show some of the physical principles of the robot I work with using a 3D-printed model. Unfortunately, the activity wasn't able to take place in the 2023 science festival. My advisor and the event organizers loved the idea though and plan to have it at the next science festival.
